What's new

How it works

  1. Download the GRESB asset-level spreadsheet from Data Collection Portal → Portfolio → Asset List
  2. The spreadsheet includes one row per asset group and one row per underlying asset within each group, across all tabs
  3. Review the underlying asset rows (highlighted in purple) to understand the data for each member asset
  4. Manually enter or calculate the aggregated value for the asset group row — using whichever logic is appropriate (e.g., sum, weighted average, qualitative judgement)
  5. If the asset group row references a formula that depends on the underlying asset rows, copy the calculated value and paste it as a value only (Ctrl+C → Paste Special → Values) before deleting the underlying rows
  6. Delete all purple underlying asset rows across every tab before uploading
  7. Upload the spreadsheet as normal

Note: If underlying asset rows are not deleted before upload, they will be included in the submission. Always confirm all purple rows have been removed.

Tip: Formulas referencing underlying asset rows will return an error or empty value once those rows are deleted. Save values before removing source rows.

Where to find it

Data Collection Portal → Portfolio → Asset List → Download

Select the GRESB report type and download the asset-level spreadsheet. Asset group rows are included automatically when asset groups exist in the portfolio.
